Spotted buses run
constant through narrow Greek streets
my carless world
Spotted buses run
humming outside our window
Athen's arteries
Spotted buses run
crammed with sombre Greeks dressed in
black, black and more black
Spotted buses pass
almost scraping metal sides
a narrow escape

These poems are written by family members, and do not necessarily have to rhyme. My original personal challenge was to write a poem a day for one year. (Yes, a three line haiku counts as long as it fits the criteria of 5-7-5.) My revised goal is to write 365 poems in the same number of days.
